Luxury landscaping doesn’t stop at sunset. Thoughtful lighting turns paths into invitations, trees into sculptures, and architecture into a focal point—while boosting safety and resale value. Here’s how we design low-voltage, LED landscape lighting for Dallas–Fort Worth homes that looks high-end and lasts.

Why Lighting Matters (More Than You Think)
Curb appeal x2: Your home reads bigger, cleaner, and more refined at night.
Safety & security: Lit paths, steps, and entries reduce trips and deter prowlers.
Outdoor living: Even, glare-free light makes patios and lawns actually usable after dark.
Value: Premium systems add perceived value without heavy maintenance.
Our Design Approach
1) Layered, not bright. We combine accent, wash, and downlight layers so the scene glows—never looks like a stadium.
2) Warm and natural. We spec 2700K–3000K LEDs with high CRI so stone and plants look rich, not blue.
3) Control & zones. Smart transformers, dimmers, and scenes (entertaining, everyday, late-night security).
4) Glare control. Shields, cowls, and tight beam spreads keep light on targets—not in your eyes or your neighbor’s windows.
5) Built for Texas. Heat-rated fixtures, sealed connections, and proper wire runs that survive storms.
Fixture Types & Where We Use Them
Uplights (spots): Trees, stone columns, façade accents. Narrow beams (15–25°) for height; wider (40–60°) to wash walls.
Wash lights: Broad, soft light for hedges, fences, and textures like stone or brick.
Downlights (“moonlighting”): Fixtures mounted high in trees/pavilions to cast natural, dappled light and keep hardware hidden.
Path lights (the right way): Fewer, higher-quality fixtures with good optics—no runway effect.
Step/under-cap lights: Safety on stairs, seat walls, and kitchen islands—soft and discreet.
Water feature lights: Submersible, warm LEDs to bring movement and sparkle without glare.
Tech Specs That Make the Difference
Low-voltage (12V) LED systems = efficient, safe, code-friendly.
Solid brass or powder-coated aluminum housings outlast plastic.
Watts & lumens: We right-size outputs—usually 2–7W per fixture—for a calm, high-end look.
Wiring: Hub or spoke layouts, gel-filled connections, and proper burial depth.
Tree protection: Stainless hardware, non-girdling straps, and service slack for growth.
Where Lighting Delivers the Biggest Upgrade
Front elevation: Grazed stone, framed entry, subtle soffit glow.
Specimen trees: Live oaks, Japanese maples, or olives become art pieces.
Patio edges & steps: Safer transitions, polished lines.
Side yards: Guides movement and makes narrow spaces feel intentional.
Address & drive: Modern bollards or recessed markers for a boutique feel.
Maintenance (Super Light)
Wipe lenses 2–3x/year; check aim after big storms.
Trim plant growth around fixtures.
Annual system check: transformer, voltage, connections.
